Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 23 (Reporter Luo Zhengguang) The Social Organization Administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs released a message on the 23rd. According to the relevant briefing materials of the State Council, six associations, including China Machinery Industry Federation, violated the rules to conduct appraisal and commendation fees, and the civil affairs department punished them respectively after verification, such as stopping their activities within a time limit and ordering a full refund.

The Social Organization Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs reported that in recent years, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council attached great importance to cleaning up and standardizing the fees charged by enterprises and reducing the burden on enterprises, and issued a series of normative documents, but some trade associations still turned a deaf ear and even charged fees against the wind. From January, 2014 to July, 2017, Shenzhen Decoration Industry Association violated the relevant regulations, and illegally carried out appraisal activities such as "Six Excellent" in the industry, and charged appraisal fees of 3,079,500 yuan to participating enterprises and individuals.

The Social Organization Administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs said that in response to the illegal charges of the above six associations, the civil affairs department and relevant departments carefully checked the clues of suspected illegal charges and made serious treatment. Some have been given administrative punishment for stopping their activities for three months within a time limit, some have been ordered to correct relevant illegal acts and replace the directly responsible person in charge, some have been ordered to refund in full, and some have been transferred to law enforcement departments for investigation. Chambers of commerce of various industry associations should take the above six associations as a warning, learn lessons seriously, and put an end to the phenomenon of illegal enterprise-related charges.
