BYD’s Eye of God is out of the loop. More than 70,000 cars have advanced wisdom. Do you dare to use it?
In the past two days, BYD’s "Eye of the God" has made a solid fire, and directly went out of the circle in C position. Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD, even waved the flag and shouted in a high-profile way: "BYD will open the era of intelligent driving for all." The night of February 10th is destined to be a sleepless night for many friends and businessmen. 79,800 products have been driven by high-level wisdom. How do you want me to sell more than 300,000 cars?
In 2025, the first "King Bomb" in year of the snake was given by BYD. At BYD’s "Eye of God" conference on February 10, Wang Chuanfu announced that all BYD models will be equipped with high-level "Eye of God" intelligent driving system, and the first batch of 21 models have entered the market preparation period. These models even include BYD’s models below 100,000 yuan, such as, 05 DM-i and the second generation Qin Plus DM-I.
Is the era of intelligent driving for all really coming? Many netizens even exclaimed: "I can drive a car with a high-level intelligent driving with a monthly salary of 3,000." Of course, many netizens sent out soul torture: "Haha, who dares to use it?" Interestingly, Huawei’s Yu Chengdong even sent a Weibo: "Intelligent driving, easy to use and easy to use and safe, is a completely different realm!" Although he didn’t name names, he just reported his ID number, so a discerning person can know who he is at a glance.
l?The so-called "eye of the gods"
BYD’s "Eye of God" contains three sets of technical solutions, which means that it is graded just like a car’s high school and low school. It is ranked by price and grade, and the order is as follows: Eye of God A- high-order intelligent driving three-laser version > Eye of God B- high-order intelligent driving three-laser version > Eye of God C- high-order intelligent driving three-eye version.
One by one, the Eye of God A is yellow, that is, the top version, equipped with three laser radar blessings, which is of course for looking up at this class of cars; Eye of God B is red, which is a little lower-key than A, but it is also very fierce. It is used for BYD and other mid-to high-end models. Eye of God C, also known as "all people’s intelligent driving" in BYD’s mouth, can be used by BYD to "walk" cars, but it can still realize the functions of leaving and parking, autonomous lane change, overtaking and getting on and off ramps on high-speed/urban expressways, but it does not support urban navigation assistance, and it is impossible to "drive when there is a road" on urban roads like Huawei and Tucki.
I have to say, BYD’s three schemes of "Eye of the Gods" are really simple and rude, which makes people understand at a glance. They have all taken into account the collocation of different market segments. No wonder Wang Chuanfu thinks that 2025 will become the first year of intelligent driving for all people, and in the next 2-3 years, high-level intelligent driving will become an indispensable configuration like seat belts and airbags.
But then again, there’s nothing wrong with what Yu Chengdong said. "Making it work and using it safely are two different concepts." Eye of God BYD said it was self-developed, but is there really no shadow of DJI in Plan C of Eye of God? The difference between DJI and Huawei is not a little bit.
l?So-called high-order intelligent driving
As a car media person and consumer, I think that the so-called high-order intelligent driving is actually intelligent assisted driving. Driving is a life-threatening thing. Will you really give your safety to an AI with peace of mind? Whether it is hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands of cars with high-level intelligent driving, safety is the first.
This year is obviously the second half of new energy intelligence, as Wang Chuanfu said: "By then, cars without high-level intelligent driving will become a minority." It is true that the volume has become a natural phenomenon, but many car companies do not have the ability to keep up, and is smart driving really what consumers want? Or is this another "gimmick" that car companies force consumers to buy a car?
Whether it is car companies or consumers, this trend of high-level intelligent driving should not follow the trend easily. Car safety is the first, and I only recognize this one.
l?Qingdong review
But then again, BYD’s Eye of the Gods really seems to have brought the "era of intelligent driving for all" ahead of time. If it were you, would you dare to use the high-level intelligent driving of 79,800 cars? Welcome to leave a message in the comments section.
